Dr. Momen completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at West Virginia University and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the School of Dentistry at West Virginia University in 1991. He completed a three-year hospital-based residency at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh/University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 1994 where he was selected to serve as chief resident from 1993 to 1994.
Dr. Momen has more than 25 years of experience in office- and hospital-based pediatric dentistry. He practiced in Beaver, Pennsylvania from 1994 to 1997 before opening a solo practice in Bridgeport, West Virginia in 1997. He has approximately 4000 active patients and has staff privileges at United Hospital Center where he performs surgical restorations one day each week. Dr. Momen was an affiliate medical staff member at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh from 1994 to 2000 and has been an active member of the medical staff at United Hospital Center since 1997. Dr. Momen is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the West Virginia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. His leadership positions include one term as vice-president of the Beaver County Dental Society and one term as president of the Harrison County Dental Society. He currently serves on the Alumni Board of Governors for the West Virginia University School of Dentistry and is president of the West Virginia chapter, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Momen lives in Bridgeport with his wife Jennifer and daughter Sarah, who is following in his footsteps as a member of the WVU School of Dentistry Class of 2025. Dr. Momen enjoys traveling, playing golf, and hiking some of the many scenic West Virginia trails.

Dr. Tristan Smith
Dr. Tristan Smith is thrilled to be a part of the team! A Bridgeport native, she graduated WVU Dental School in 2022 and completed a post-doctoral residency the following year where she served the underprivileged and disabled communities at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She is overjoyed to be back serving her hometown and has a passion for all things kids. She and her husband welcomed their first baby girl last year alongside their two beloved rescue dogs. Dr. Tristan looks forward to seeing your smiling faces at the office!
